Join the WHO Global Knowledge Network for Health Equity (GKNHE) and the WHO Collaborating Centre on Health in All Policies and the Social Determinants of Health for a webinar focusing on exploring the role of social protection in advancing health equity, and how social protection measures can address systemic barriers to health.
Objectives
Understand the links between social protection and the social determinants of health equity, focusing on how these measures address systemic barriers to health.
Learn from experts and country partners about strategies for leveraging social protection measures to enhance health equity, including policy integration and cross-sector/intersectoral collaboration.
Engage in a panel discussion with experts and country partners on challenges and opportunities, followed by a Q&A.
Target audiences
This webinar is intended for policymakers, government officials, and other stakeholders involved in social protection and health equity. It will also benefit researchers, practitioners, and advocates working on social determinants of health and social protection sectors.
