Open session preceding the 56th meeting of the WHO International Working Group for Drug Statistics Methodology [1]

The Open Session is held once a year, in the interest of transparency, as a pre-meeting event before the actual meeting of the full Working Group for Drug Statistics Methodology. Anyone with a legitimate interest in the Anatomical Therapeutic Chemical (ATC) classification system and Defined Daily Dose (DDD) assignment can attend the open session. This includes regulatory authorities, the pharmaceutical industry, academia and non-governmental organisations, and it provides an opportunity to present additional information to the experts to assist them in their decision-making. It is also an opportunity for the international experts of the Working Group to exchange ideas and opinions with interested parties. The open session is not intended to be used as a mechanism to challenge the decision of the Working Group. There is no agenda for this session. However, should you wish to make a suggestion or intervention at this session you are invited to bring these to the attention of WHO when you register for the session.

This year the Opens Session will be a Zoom based session. Participants will receive a link from WHO Geneva for the presentation of their contribution.
