Quality of care is a critical aspect of service delivery and fundamental to improve health services for all and achieving UHC. In recent years, there has been a growing recognition of the role of the private sector in health care provision and its potential to contribute to improving quality of care, better health outcomes and overall healthcare system performance. Effective private sector engagement requires a good understanding of governance structures and service delivery mechanisms.
This webinar will discuss the relationship between private sector engagement, governance, and service delivery in health care, with a specific focus on enhancing quality of care, share country experiences, and explore challenges and opportunities in leveraging private sector involvement to improve healthcare quality.
