Working towards NTD Road map 2030 targets for Onchocerciasis: A coordinated effort of the Global Onchocerciasis Network for Elimination (GONE)



The Global Onchocerciasis Network for Elimination (GONE) would like to invite you to a webinar on 18 April 2024 which will focus on Ghana who has been very successful with the control of onchocerciasis. Despite significant gains in the fight against onchocerciasis, the infection remains endemic in some communities in Ghana. In the webinar, you will hear the exciting story of how Ghana is progressing towards eliminating onchocerciasis and what can be done to overcome the remaining challenges. Ghana’s partners will talk about their perspectives on the progress achieved and neighboring countries will share their story on cross-border collaboration in onchocerciasis elimination. The interactive webinar invites participants to share their feedback, questions and comments.

Languages

The meeting will be conducted in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese with simultaneous interpretation.
