To Err is Human: Patients’ stories from the heart [1]
[]
Date: 2022-11-29
WHO Patient Safety Flagship Unit cordially invites you to participate in a webinar “To Err is Human: Patients’ stories from the heart” to mark the anniversary of the Institute of Medicine report “To Err is Human: Building a Safer Health System” that was released on 29 November back in 1999.
The report brought the issues of medical errors and patient harm in health care to the forefront of health policy agenda, and catalyzed the global movement around patient safety, with a number of subsequent achievements at the global, regional, and country levels.
The webinar will take place on Tuesday, 29 November at 13:30-15:00 (CET).
During the webinar you will have an opportunity to view A Patient Safety Documentary “To Err is Human” as well as to hear from patients, families, and their representatives about real experiences in health care and what can be done to eliminate avoidable harm in health care at individual and organizational level.
We are looking forward to your active participation!
