Louisiana’s dead fish spills drop dramatically following menhaden industry regulations [1]

The first full season since Louisiana passed restrictions on the menhaden fishing industry is closing. And the results couldn’t be more obvious.

Just over 350,000 fish have been lost this year, a significant drop from the 1.3 million fish the industry has averaged each year over the past decade.
