The Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art-University of Oklahoma Collection includes forty-seven twentieth-century paintings that embody the beauty and vitality of the American West. These works encompass a wide range of subjects from vibrant landscapes and historic frontier scenes to diverse representations of Native American life. Since 1936, the Fred Jones Jr. Museum has served as a cultural cornerstone for University of Oklahoma students and community members alike, exhibiting temporary exhibitions and artworks from the robust collection of more than 20,000 objects.
