Secretary Blinken to Deliver Remarks on American Diplomacy for a New Era [1]

Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken will deliver remarks on the Department’s modernization agenda for American diplomacy at 9:00 a.m. ET on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at the Department of State’s Foreign Service Institute. Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources Richard R. Verma will introduce the Secretary and deliver opening remarks.

The remarks will be livestreamed on the Department homepage and replayed on the Department YouTube channel. Press coverage of the remarks will be open to pre-registered media. Media who would like to cover in person must RSVP by emailing [email protected] by 3:00 p.m. tomorrow, October 29, 2024. Call time and arrival information for Wednesday’s event will be provided to those who RSVP only.
