Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken met today with Mongolian Prime Minister Oyun-Erdene in Ulaanbaatar. Secretary Blinken and Prime Minister Oyun-Erdene discussed concrete steps to improve and expand economic ties and people-to-people connections between the United States and Mongolia. The Secretary and the Prime Minister stressed the importance of creating more opportunities for Mongolians to study in the United States and to learn English in Mongolia. Secretary Blinken and Prime Minister Oyun-Erdene also celebrated the launch of the U.S.-Mongolia Excellence in English Initiative.
