Video and fine arts competition 2023 - News [1]
[]
Date: 2023-12
Across the world, young people are at the forefront of fighting for social justice and human rights. From leading democratic movements to protesting against environmental degradation, the youth of today is working tirelessly to create a better world for themselves and future generations.
This year, Transparency International celebrates its 30th anniversary and as part of the Second Summit for Democracy, will collaborate with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea to celebrate young people from all over the world who challenge corruption through their innovative and inspiring ideas.
Since 1993, Transparency International has been leading the fight against corruption worldwide, working in more than 100 countries as part of a broader global movement. What our work has consistently proven is that corruption can be challenged and young people have a key role in it.
For that reason, Transparency International is calling on young people across the globe to participate in the Video and Fine Arts Competition 2023. There are many young artists and anti-corruption activists who are making a difference in their communities. By shining a light on corruption and demanding transparency and accountability, these young people are working towards a fairer and more just society.
People between the ages of 18 and 30 are invited to submit an artwork or a video with the proposed theme for each category.
Six winners will be selected out of the submitted entries by a special jury and will be invited to Seoul, the Republic of Korea for an award ceremony on March 30. They will have the opportunity to present and discuss their submission with anti-corruption experts.
