About the opportunity

The Griffith University Postdoctoral Fellowship Scheme is an exciting initiative offering up to twelve full-time, two year fixed-term research positions to high calibre early-career researchers. Postdoctoral Fellows will be based at one of the University's eligible research centres/institutes or schools and will contribute to key areas of strength in national and international research.

Postdoctoral Fellows (up to 3 years post-Research Doctorate) are appointed at RF1 levels. In addition, each year the scheme provides $10,000 for research project costs and $5,000 for collaboration, travel and conference support. We have up to twelve fellowships to offer, including one fellowship designated for an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Researcher.

Prior to formally seeking applications for this opportunity, the University has previously advertised and assessed Expression of Interests for the GUPF which closed on 24 June 2021. Only those applicants who have submitted an EOI and been approved to proceed to the next stage may now submit a Full Application. Applicants who have not submitted an EOI or been approved to submit a Full Application are not eligible to apply for this next stage of the GUPF round.
