About Human Resources Group

Human Resource and OHS: This function is responsible for developing the people strategy to support the University’s strategic plan and is accountable for the performance and delivery of the Human Resources function across the University. It provides policy, industrial relations and critical advice and guidance ensuring that the University is compliant and cohesive whilst creating a culture that attracts and retains talent. The function is also responsible for creating and maintaining a safe workplace where people can thrive and do their best work.

About the role

As Manager, Compliance and Reporting, you will build and support processes and operations relating to HR compliance. You will also provide in-depth reporting to both support compliance requirements but also provide insights for strategic and operational change. You will further review existing policy and processes and make recommendations on what data needs to be tracked and how it can be used to improve operations.

About you

Your strong interpersonal skills allow you to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, management and other stakeholders that build a network of influence and enable effective negotiated outcomes across all levels of the organisation. Your analytical skills enable you to identify and track data for compliance requirements and operational improvements.

You will further have:

Qualification/s in a relevant tertiary discipline or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training

Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a related quality, risk, compliance and reporting position.

Demonstrable knowledge and experience working with a risk management framework.

Demonstrable knowledge and experience with risk reporting and data modelling.

Proven organisational skills, ability to multi-task, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
