The Role
Continuing, Full Time
$100,476 to $141,488 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
Port Macquarie
We are currently seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals with substantial experience across a range of occupational therapy practice areas to teach, undertake research and subject development in our occupational therapy course.
The successful candidate will be required to engage and teach students through face-to-face and online delivery modes, engage in research, be an active and collaborative member of the occupational therapy and School team, and engage in academic administration tasks relevant to the role. Applications are sought from those who can demonstrate a commitment to regional, rural and remote healthcare and practice, with a willingness and ability to teach across practice areas.
The successful candidate will be appointed to a teaching research work function with an expectation to commence in January 2022 or by negotiation.
To be successful you will have:
A doctoral or masters qualification or equivalent accreditation and standing
Eligibility for registration as an occupational therapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Knowledge of the discipline including occupational therapy practice in rural and regional areas, and mental health, child and family and/or neurological practice
Commitment to the delivery of high-quality student-centred learning and teaching
