The Department of Anatomy & Physiology is seeking to appoint a highly skilled and motivated Senior Lecturer at level C in a continuing position.

The Department of Anatomy & Physiology is seeking to appoint a highly skilled and motivated Senior Lecturer at level C in a continuing position. The successful candidate is expected to provide academic research leadership in the area of cardiometabolic function and disease and contribute to the implementation of the Department’s operational plan with regard to research excellence, strategy and engagement. The candidate will also design and deliver innovative, high-quality teaching of cardiometabolic and related physiology to undergraduate and graduate level students.

The appointee will be recognised as an expert in an area of cardiometabolic function and/or disease and will have demonstrated experience in performing high quality research that has led to novel discoveries relevant to human health. The appointee will have an excellent track record of relevant research published in high quality scientific journals, success in securing competitive research grant funding from national (e.g. National Health and Medical Research Council) and/or international agencies, have successfully supervised graduate students, and will have established national and international collaborations. The appointee will also have made significant contributions to the teaching of cardiometabolic physiology and related disciplines employing innovative, blended teaching and learning approaches.
