The Role
Continuing, Full Time
$97,910 to $138,078 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
Bathurst, Port Macquarie, Wagga Wagga
We are currently seeking someone who has full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia and is eligible for endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist to teach at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and engage in relevant and impactful research.
The successful candidate will teach into the Master of Professional Psychology/ Master of Professional Psychology (School Psychology), the Master of Clinical Psychology and the newly offered Master of Psychological Practice/ Master of Psychological Practice (School Psychology). They will also supervise students undertaking research projects at honours and postgraduate level and contribute to the ongoing development and implementation of innovative teaching methods that align with contemporary practice.
A teaching research or teaching professional work function will be allocated to the successful candidate based on skills and experience and professional interest.
To be successful you will have:
A doctoral or masters qualification appropriate to Clinical Psychology or equivalent accreditation and standing
Full registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia and eligibility for endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist
Evidence of and a demonstrated commitment to the delivery of high quality student centred learning and teaching
Ability to provide effective leadership in an academic setting
Sound knowledge and understanding of the discipline gained through industry experience and/or scholarly activities or similar
