The upcoming opportunity

The Griffith University Postdoctoral Fellowship Scheme is an exciting initiative offering up to twelve full-time, two year fixed-term research positions to high calibre early-career researchers. Postdoctoral Fellows will be based at one of the University's research centres and will contribute to key areas of strength in national and international research.

Postdoctoral Fellows (up to 3 years post-Research Doctorate) are appointed at RF1 levels. In addition, each year the scheme provides $10,000 for research project costs and $5,000 for collaboration, travel and conference support. In past years, we have offered up to twelve fellowships, including one fellowship designated for an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Researcher.

Prior to formally seeking applications for this opportunity and due to the large numbers of applications normally submitted, the University requests an abbreviated Expression of Interest (EOI) as an initial step prior to accepting applications. No appointments will be made as a result of the EOI process. Following the EOI process, you may be invited to submit a full application when the opportunity opens and which will be considered for a Postdoctoral Fellowship appointment.
