The US military admits to killing 10 civilians in a botched drone strike in Kabul last month, right before America's pullout from Afghanistan. For the first time, France recalls its ambassadors from the US and Australia accusing them of 'lying' and 'back-stabbing' over a security deal also including the UK and seen as countering China. Russians decide the makeup of their parliament for the next 5 years in the final stage of a three-day ballot.
