The leaders discussed developments around Nagorny Karabakh with a focus on resolving practical tasks to ensure stability and security in the region. In the context of the current aggravation of the situation in the Lachin corridor, they confirmed the importance of strict observance of the entire set of fundamental agreements reached by the leaders of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan.

The President of Russia expressed solidarity with the Armenian people in connection with the recent mournful date – Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day.

They also agreed to continue contacts at various levels.
