First Female Romany Student To Graduate From Moldovan High School Wants To Fight For Rights [1]

Maria Stoian is the only female Romany student in the history of Pushkin High School in the Moldovan city of Soroca to reach the final year and will be the first person in her family to graduate high school. Many Romany girls drop out of school to marry. Stoian says she wants to become a lawyer and fight for Romany rights.
