Europe, Central Asia Face Spike In Infections As WHO Warns Of Omicron 'Tidal Wave'

Several countries in Europe and Central Asia are reporting an explosion in coronavirus cases amid warnings that a new "west-to-east tidal wave" of the super-contagious Omicron variant could lead to more than half the population of Europe catching COVID-19 within the next two months.
