In his hard-hitting Nobel Peace Prize lecture, Russian journalist Dmitry Muratov made a short detour from biting criticism of the Kremlin to speak about spinal muscular atrophy (SMA). He has campaigned for years to help sufferers gain access to expensive drugs, yet a self-help group in Moscow says people are dying before courts rule on their eligibility.
