President Volodymyr Zelenskyy does not rule out that Russia will react to the agreement by the G7 countries on security guarantees for Ukraine by attempting to block humanitarian initiatives in order to create new crises. He said this during a meeting with representatives of Ukrainian and foreign media following his visit to Lithuania and participation in the NATO Summit.

"I am sure that after today's acceptance of security guarantees, they will now disrupt important humanitarian projects in one way or another. Russia always reacts like this: it does not keep its word and constantly wants to block certain humanitarian corridors to create a new crisis," the Head of State noted.

Answering journalists' questions about the Black Sea Grain Initiative, which expires on July 17, the President of Ukraine noted that there are risks of blocking it: "At our meeting, President Erdoğan raised the issue and said that Türkiye supports this initiative. There are risks. We discussed this with President Erdoğan during my visit to Istanbul, at our meeting."

Volodymyr Zelenskyy called for United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres to join the negotiations with Russia on the extension of the Black Sea Grain Initiative as one of the parties to the previous agreements with Russia.

"We are not violating anything, we are not blocking anything. We did not agree with Russia - we agreed with the UN and Türkiye, and they agreed with Russia," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
