President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a phone call with President of Costa Rica Rodrigo Chaves Robles.

The Head of State thanked the interlocutor for Costa Rica's constant support for Ukraine on international platforms and the imposition of sanctions against Russia.

The President of Ukraine spoke about the situation caused by the destruction of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant dam in Kherson region by Russians. He emphasized the importance of bringing the aggressor to justice.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted Costa Rica's regional leadership in the work of the Core Group to establish a Special International Tribunal for the crime of aggression against our country.

The President of Ukraine also expressed gratitude for supporting the UN General Assembly resolution on the Ukrainian Peace Formula and invited Costa Rica to join its implementation.

The interlocutors discussed the possibility of organizing the Ukraine - Latin America Summit and coordinated positions on the eve of upcoming international events.
