Fort Wayne Newspapers is currently looking for a Production Director to lead pressroom, packaging and distribution, and maintenance departments of the Production division.

The Production Director has responsibilities of ensuring that all production duties are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures for day-to-day operations, provide leadership, work with other members of the production team to identify potential problems or issues, deliver product and production reports, budgets, and ensure a safe and healthy work environment. The director will also assist the CEO with long-range operating goals and identifying opportunities to improve operating efficiencies.

The ideal candidate has excellent skills in leadership, internal and external communications, problem solving, and budgeting. Must have superior organizational skills and attention to detail. Has a proven track record of successful project management. Ten years of production experience.

A bachelor's degree in industrial management, business management, or related field. Salary is based upon experience.
