Graduation rates in Yakima County, Washington, have lagged behind the national and state level. Enrollment is down in many school districts, leading to cuts in teachers and staff. School districts and colleges are trying to regain their footing after the pandemic. This position will cover education in our community, focusing on solutions and what’s working, with an emphasis on K-12 education, colleges and vocational education.



Salary and Benefits:

$22.45/hour ($46,697 annually) to $24/hour ($49,920 annually), depending on experience.



Health, vision, dental and life insurance, two weeks vacation, sick leave, laptop, and access to audio and photo equipment.



This position will be:

Hybrid (some days in the office per week)



Moving Stipend:

Yes, open to negotiation.
