If you were scheduled to attend Poynter’s Community Conversation “Inside the Pulitzer Prizes: What’s It Like to Choose Journalism’s Best” on Wednesday evening, Sept. 25, the event if being postponed because of the potential for tropical weather to affect the bay area. The desire to be cautious about safety as the storm evolves prompted the cancellation now.

The event will be rescheduled at a date in October to be determined, and all tickets will be honored. Ticket-holders will be notified by email about the new date. The Poynter Institute apologizes to patrons for the inconvenience and hopes you will be able to attend the rescheduled event.

If you haven’t purchased tickets but are interested in attending when the event is rescheduled, get more details here.

Poynter thanks the sponsors of the event, The Frank E. Duckwall Foundation, Duke Energy, Truist and The Sembler Co.

If you have questions, email [email protected].
