For 42 years JES Media has led the affluent magazine industry in South Palm Beach County with their hallmark publication, BOCA RATON magazine. JES Media also publishes DELRAY BEACH magazine, WORTH AVENUE magazine, The Greater Boca Raton Chamber Annual and 1926, the official magazine for THE BOCA RATON resort. JES Media is seeking a highly motivated Account Executive.

Job Purpose:

The Account Manager is responsible for maintaining and growing a book of business for the company under the direction of the Director of Advertising.

Job Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess one to three years of related sales experience. Knowledge of the market and a resident of the area would be necessary. Experience selling print and digital media sales also preferred. Must be computer savvy for creating proposals, utilizing a CRM tool, sending emails, contracts, calendar scheduling and client research. It helps to have a passion for helping clients succeed in business.

Work schedule: Full time Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Compensation: Competitive base pay and lucrative commission structure.

Responsibilities: Aggressively prospect, secure and manage local, luxury lifestyle advertising clients with an emphasis on developing new business. Build strong relationships with clients. Qualify leads and close new business that are a fit for our niche publications. This requires strong time-management and self discipline skills. Balancing many clients, contracts, tasks, frequent deadlines is just part of the position. In addition, executing effective email campaigns, achieving cold call goals and setting sales appointments with presentations of our products are a necessary part of this job.
