Electrician/maintenance technician is needed for Las Vegas’ largest newspaper.
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities
● Responsible for maintaining, repairing and installing Production/Building equipment with
focus on preventative maintenance.
● Displays a respectful and professional attitude while supporting a teamwork environment
● Maintains a clean and safe work area
Requirements/Skills
• Experience with industrial electric, mechanical equipment or similar environment
● Troubleshooting skills for electrical and mechanical problems is a must
● Ability to read and understand diagrams and charts of electrical and mechanical presentations
● Knowledge of different types of PLC I/O points and experience of electrical drives preferred
● Basic computer skills are needed
● Able to communicate effectively at all levels, both written and verbal
● Able to work in a fast paced, TEAM environment
● Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays if necessary
● This position is based in Las Vegas
