Regional Digital Advertising Director

The Yakima Herald-Republic and Walla Walla Union-Bulletin, a part of the Seattle Times Company, is in search of an experienced and successful digital sales leader to drive digital revenue growth across our affiliated newspaper websites.

As the Digital Advertising Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy that drives new business and expands existing client relationships. You will work closely with our advertising teams to understand our clients' needs and create customized digital advertising solutions that meet those needs and deliver results.

The Digital Advertising Sales Director is a member of the Seattle Times Affiliate Newspaper leadership team and will help set short and long-term strategies for our markets.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and execute a sales strategy that drives revenue growth and expands our client base.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing customized digital advertising solutions.

· Work closely with our advertising teams to create proposals and presentations that effectively communicate the value of our digital advertising solutions.

· Manage a digital team, providing coaching and guidance to ensure their success.

· Analyze sales data and industry trends to identify opportunities for growth.

Requirements:

· 5+ years of experience in digital advertising sales, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth.

· Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.

· Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to manage a sales team and drive results.

· Deep understanding of digital advertising platforms and industry trends.

This position is based in Yakima but will travel frequently to our Walla Walla market.
