Job Description

BridgeTower Media is seeking an experienced, digitally savvy Editorial Leader who can work with a team to create quality journalism serving the North Carolina and South Carolina legal communities. The ideal candidate will be able to lead webinars and panel discussions and emcee events and will also understand how to launch new products and events to grow our brands in the marketplace. The position manages all digital and print content for North Carolina Lawyers Weekly and South Carolina Lawyers Weekly.

What skills does the job require?

Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism or a related field

Strong journalism skills

Excellent management and product development skills

B2B niche product experience is a plus.

Ability to maintain and grow strong relationships with key business leaders.

Home internet connection with minimum 50mbps up/10mbps down

What will you be Responsible for?

Managing the vision for our brands and developing new growth opportunities.

Building paid subscribers and audience through essential, unique content.

Managing a statewide newsroom.

Managing the content, navigability and readership growth of our websites.

Continually working on features and innovations to serve readers and build paid audience.

Serving as one of the hosts and thought leaders for webinars, roundtables and live and virtual events.

Keeping on top of industry innovations and trends.

Maintaining the highest standards of professional ethics.

Working closely with the group publisher / sales manager to create products to grow revenue and our brand.
