Responsibilities

This position will serve to produce audio/video segments for various venues, including radio, television, and web, and to meet requirements for local programming, corporate communications, and public awareness.

-Produce, edit, and distribute original content for Local Routes and other local productions for distribution on multimedia platforms, including broadcast, digital, and social.

-Targets content for specific multimedia platform requirements including video, audio, photographic, and written elements.

-Creates videos for other departments and projects as needed.

-Oversees assigned productions/projects/edits for broadcast and digital.

-Coordinates with external clients on projects to develop audio and video materials that support goals and objectives.

-Works with studio crew as Technical Director or Director (or other positions as needed) for studio and field productions.

-Will operate and/or direct television production equipment to include cameras (studio and field), edit systems (nonlinear and linear), media storage devices (servers, VTRs), audio systems, lighting instruments and other associated tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, New Media or a related-field and two years of experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and six years of experience. (Note: a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years.)

Hands-on experience with a wide variety of audio and video production equipment.

Ability to produce field, digital, and studio productions.

Experience with the following: Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Media Encoder.

Ability to write articles, shoot videos and photos, and host.

Ability to navigate web and multimedia platforms easily.

Ability to work independently.

A valid Florida or Georgia driver's license or the ability to obtain one.

Preferred

Experience with Adobe After Effects
