WPSD LOCAL6, the NBC affiliate in the 84th market seeks a talented Weekend Meteorologist. You’ll join a team that received national recognition for their life saving work during the incredibly destructive and deadly December tornados.



You know WSI, every social media platform, are familiar with wall-to-wall “tag-team” weather coverage. You are congenial and collaborative, a team player. You are a graphic whiz and a great weather story teller. You are warm, reassuring, conversational and credible.

We are The Weather Authority in our market. Tracking storms is quite simply the most important work we do. It is work that literally saves lives. Our team is absolutely committed to do whatever it takes to serve our viewers, on every platform better than anyone else.

You are an idea person, self-starter and ready to work in a high energy, competitive environment.

Degree in Meteorology or related science field and two years of experience preferred. Talented entry level candidates will be considered.
