Rocket with cargo spacecraft Progress MS-18 is installed on the launch pad

This morning integrated launch vehicle (ILV) Soyuz-2.1а with cargo transportation spacecraft Progress МS-18 was rolled out from the integration and test facility of the launch vehicle and erected on the launch pad of Area 31 of the Baikonur cosmodrome.

According to L-2 day program the launch teams began to perform processing operations on preflight testing of ILV systems and assemblies with the interface check of the onboard and ground equipment of the rocket and space complex.

The launch of the Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle carrying Progress MS-18 is scheduled for October 28, 2021 from the Baikonur cosmodrome. The spacecraft shall deliver to the ISS resupply propellant, reserve supplies of portable water and air, as well as 1 490 kg of various hardware and materials required for further operation of the station in a manned mode.
