Events to celebrate Fourth of July in Iowa [1]

With Independence Day landing on a Tuesday this year, many Iowans took to the lake, backyard or community amphitheater to celebrate America’s independence over the weekend.

However, communities across Iowa are hosting community events, parades and fireworks on July 4.

Altoona

Parade: 10 a.m. at Venbury Drive and Eighth Street SW

Clarksville Station: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.at Finish Line Show Lounge
