College of Idaho, Idaho Center for Fiscal Policy to host public forum on polarization [1]

The College of Idaho is collaborating with the Idaho Center for Fiscal Policy to host a public policy forum Oct. 25 in Caldwell, according to a news release.
The event, “The Idaho Policy Forum: Dialogue in a Time of Political Polarization,” is open to the public, and it will include three panel discussions about school vouchers, green energy and open primaries. The event will end with closing remarks from former Idaho Supreme Court Chief Justice Jim Jones.

According to the news release, the event is meant to keep with the college’s commitment to “cultivating a democratic citizenry by providing a space for deliberation about today’s most important issues facing the state of Idaho.”
When: 1:30-5:30 p.m. Wednesday
Where: College of Idaho’s Langroise Recital Hall in Caldwell
Questions during the event from the public are encouraged, and refreshments will be available at the end of the event.
