Boise Valley Habitat for Humanity to host 17th annual fundraiser for housing programs [1]

Boise Valley Habitat for Humanity and Citi are hosting the 17th annual “Evening in the Garden” fundraiser at FarWest Landscape and Garden Center on June 9.

Located at 5723 W. State St., this year’s theme is “light up the night.”

The fundraiser includes a live and silent auction offering Idaho rafting trips, getaway stays and local Boise artwork. The funds raised will go toward the nonprofit’s affordable homeownership and critical home repairs programs.

“Through a casual evening of fun, fine wine, beer, and food, FarWest provides a beautiful landscape to help families attain affordable homeownership,” said Janessa Chastain, executive director. “It is an incredible evening to benefit Boise Valley Habitat for Humanity.”

The sponsors of the event include Citi, FarWest Landscape and Garden Center, Boise Cascade, Norco, Hubble Homes, Idaho Power, Holland and Hart and Pioneer Federal Credit Union.
