Op 10 november organiseerden studenten van openbare universiteiten demonstraties in alle steden in het land en verzamelden ze zich op het Bolívarplein in Bogotá, het belangrijkste regeringscentrum in het land. Het doel van de demonstratie was om druk uit te oefenen op de regering om Wet 30 voor de hervorming van het hoger onderwijs definitief in te trekken.
