Amina Arraf is binnen korte tijd beroemd geworden. Ze blogt onder het pseudoniem Amina Abdullah en schrijft over politiek, de recente opstand en over hoe het is om lesbienne te zijn in Syrië. De krachtige woorden van Amina, die zowel de Amerikaanse als de Syrische nationaliteit heeft, beschrijven wat er de afgelopen weken echt is gebeurd in Syrië. Vandaag werd op Amina's eigen blog gemeld dat ze door de autoriteiten is ontvoerd.
