En Turquía, canción sobre amor entre dos hombres suscita reacciones negativas [1]

El último día del mes del Orgullo, la cantante y compositora turca Mabel Matiz, cuyo nombre real es Fatih Karaca, estrenó una nueva canción de amor llamada «Karakol» [«Comisaría»] que presenta una historia de amor entre personas del mismo sexo. Matiz protagoniza el video musical que lo acompaña junto al modelo turco Serdar Bileke. Mientras Matiz canta, la letra guía a los oyentes a través de la historia de amor de los hombres:
Through all my nights and all my evenings, I yearn for you.
At every dawn, in every sunrise, I see something of you to be sure.
You poisoned me yet I, cannot return from this path.
Covered in bruises, shots amiss, I said no more loving like that, but it seems my heart is locked up at the police station.
