The School of the Art Institute of Chicago’s performance department held its annual “IMPACT” Performance Festival on Saturday April 5 and Sunday April 6, 2025. SAIC’s graduating MFA and BFA students presented live performances throughout the 280 Building, including Choi Eunjin (MFA 2025), Sisel Gelman (MFAW 2025), Sarah Lutkenhaus (MFA 2025), John McDonald (MFAW 2025), Joe Oakes (MFA 2025), and Kyle Gregory Price (MFA 2025) on the first day, and Phoebe Guyuzi Chen (BFA 2025), Graciela Gonzales (BFAW, 2025), Chia Chun Huang (BFA 2025), Jude Kharchou (BFA 2025), and Nathége (BFA 2025) on the second day. Their performances played to all the senses, with sound based pieces, interactive installation, as well as movement and material explorations.
