Panel 1. Starr and Kenji sit together at a table

STARR: “I’m not sure why it took you 50 years to ask me out, but I’m glad you did!”

KENJI: “Ha-ha! Probably had to do with my wife and kids.”

Panel 2. Kenji speaks

KENJI: “It scared the shit out of me back then, Starr. Even before that was your thing.”

Panel 3. Kenji takes out his wallet

KENJI: “I’ve always kept a photo of you, though…”

KENJI: “…hoping maybe one day I would have enough courage.”
