Dive into anything

2024-12

As you might know, people come to festivals all the time with the sole purpose of stealing belongings. This can ruin the entire festival and provide quite the headache afterwards. With stolen iPhones, a common strategy is to take the stolen iPhone and immediately turn on Airplane Mode to prevent the phone from being tracked. Fear not Roovians - I have an easy solution that can prevent this trick and buy you some time to track your phone should you fall victim.

Go to settings, and find Face ID and Passcode. Once you’re in, scroll down to “Allow Access When Locked” and turn off “Control Center.” This will make it impossible for them to turn off your phones location immediately by turning on airplane mode through the control center, unless they have your face (creepy) or your passcode.

Why airplane mode is this accessible in the first place is beyond me, but hopefully this helps.

Happy Roo!
