Protonmail (groundlessly?) accusing Google of spying on people’s device content for CSAM

For clarity, Protonmail are SPECULATIVELY accusing Google of doing something that is even worse than the CSAM detection proposal which Apple was forced to walk away from.

I don’t think that Google are that stupid. I am confident that Protonmail are wrong. I will be amazed if I am incorrect in this analysis, at least about this, here and now.
