For generative AI (…) the question is whether that label does justice to risks of bias in the underlying data sets that large AI models are trained on.

Also, while we are here: the marketing and lobbying narratives of tech companies are not matched by the level of societal value they create — I wonder how Marietje put a price on that?

On the societal value of many, many, different, themed fora for communication, funded by advertising and/or subsidy, essentially free at the point of use?

When’s the last time you used a “free” app to message/call/video-chat your family?

Would you prefer to have been paying for that?

Now: multiply by three billion, and then come back with analysis of externalities.
