Dear Daily Yonder readers,

Today is your final chance to give to our annual donor campaign. If you’ve been waiting to donate, now is the time. When the clock strikes midnight, our matching challenges — which multiply every dollar we raise — will come to an end.

First, thanks for staying with us as we’ve filled your inboxes with fundraising messages over the past two months. You’ve heard from some of our team and our supporters about why the Yonder is important to the future of rural life. You’ve learned about our matching grants from NewsMatch and the Wyncote Foundation, as well as Dee Davis and Mimi Pickering’s match challenge, in honor of Joe and Helen Pickering.

Now, our final goal is still within reach! Since our campaign kicked off in November, we’ve raised more than $35,000 from more than 250 readers like you.

We’re fewer than 100 donors away from surpassing last year’s official tally and reaching our goal of 350 donors.

Help us reaffirm that the Daily Yonder is an enterprise on the rise. This campaign is about much more than just the bottom line. Note, contributions from individuals are eligible to be matched up to $1,000 per donor from November 1 to December 31, 2023, to a combined total of at least $15,000, through the NewsMatch national-matching program. The Daily Yonder is eligible to receive an additional $10,000 in matching funds thanks to support from the Wyncote Foundation. These matching funds run concurrently, which means every dollar we raise, up to $10,000, is matched twice. Monthly recurring donations are matched at the 12-month value of the donation, up to $1,000.
