Keynote: An update from HCPF

We couldn’t think of a better way to kick off last month’s 2022 Colorado State of Reform Health Policy Conference with remarks from one of the most respected health policy leaders in the state. It was an honor to hose the Executive Director of the Department of Health Care Policy and Financing, Kim Bimestefer, for our Opening Keynote.

Bimestefer set the tone for the day by talking through the variety of efforts her agency is undertaking to improve the state’s Medicaid program, lower the cost of care, reform behavioral healthcare, and much more.

Bimestefer emphasized HCPF’s unwavering commitment to value-based payment models in the Medicaid program.
