Heh- Kirk being Kirk, probably not. Conservatives are as predictable as they are hypocritical.
Yes, it’s horrible a young Father was gunned down. My older sister never knew her Father (killed in Korea) and it negatively impacts kids.
Yes, our worship of celebrity culture lionizes people who are killed at a young age.
If you were someone into psychology, you might even wonder if unacknowledged guilt was making the right overreact to Kirk’s death, given it was at the point of a gun instead of illness or accident.
They are simply unwilling to extend the same rights to anyone who disagrees with them that they demand for themselves.
Social Media might not be a good idea in the long run. Well, not without regulation of some kind.
To expand on that- Jon Stewart The Weekly Show w/ Charlie Warzel of The Atlantic
Don’t say their names. It should be a new campaign.
The video is an hour long, they’re referring to the fact that two shooters this year knew each other online and young shooters are emulating previous shooters and writing their names on their guns. Warzel is advocating LEO don’t release names to the press in an effort to end these shooters from being lionized.
