My Life in France by Julia Child with Alex Prud’homme - just finished reading Part 1 which takes us from Paris and the Le Cordon Bleu to Marseille and continuing to work on her first book and even the even McCarthy hearings (the government agency that Child’s husband, Paul, worked for, was targeted by McCarthy). And interesting note here is that as the Cold War continued, Child’s father )according to her recollection) seems to get more and more...paranoid. Interesting parallel to today’s times, maybe.

I am really enjoying this book.
