Reports say the jets approached the capital of Tallinn before being pushed out by NATO jets.

x ❗️Today, three Russian MiG-31 fighter aircraft entered Estonian airspace without permission and remained there for a total of 12 minutes. MiG-31 headed toward the Estonian capital, Tallinn. The jets circled for about 12 minutes and Italian F-35s were scrambled to repel them.

Three jets with transponders turned off.

The Russian MIG-31 fighters entered Estonian airspace in the area of Vaindloo Island, which is a small island located in the Gulf of Finland in the Baltic Sea, the Estonian military said in a separate statement. The aircraft did not have flight plans and their transponders were turned off, the statement said, nor were the aircraft in two-way radio communication with Estonian air traffic services. Italian Air Force F-35 fighter jets, currently deployed as part of the NATO Baltic Air Policing Mission, responded to the incident, according to the statement.

I have no doubt a sternly worded letter is being composed at this very minute.

x Europe stands with Estonia in the face of Russia’s latest violation of our airspace. We will respond to every provocation with determination while investing in a stronger Eastern flank. — Ursula von der Leyen (@vonderleyen.ec.europa.eu) September 19, 2025 at 10:19 AM

It’s always a good day when a Russian ammo dump is blessed by Ammo Dump Jesus.

Unfortunately no video of the Holy Bavovna.

x A Ukrainian drone strike hit an ammunition depot belonging to Russia’s 17th Tank Regiment near Bohdanivka, Luhansk region. Ammo detonations lasted all day, with firefighting efforts only beginning by evening. Five vehicles, likely used for transport, were also destroyed.

Here’s an update from the Sumy front.

x Ukrainian forces are pushing harder near Andriivka and Yunakivka, reinforcing their assault units and using drones to disrupt Russian supply lines near Sadky and Oleksiivka. Russia is in the middle of rotating out the 810th Marines and bringing in troops from the 30th Motor Rifle Regiment.

Ukraine lays a boo boo on this choo choo.

There are few things worse than a quisling commander.

x ⚡️Ex-Ukrainian officer commands Russian offensive on Kupiansk, BBC reports. Russia is massing forces near Kupiansk, attempting to infiltrate Ukrainian lines by dressing up in civilian clothes or going through gas pipelines, the Ukrainian military said.

The island mentioned here is the Tendra Spit, which is south of the Kinburn Spit.

x ⚡️Ukraine raids Russian-occupied Black Sea island, lays mines and destroys vehicle, intelligence claims, shows footage. The DT-10 Vityaz is a two-section, tracked all-terrain amphibious vehicle, used by Russian forces to transport troops, weapons, and supplies to front-line positions.

The evolution of drones continues.

x In Lviv, engineers unveiled Ukraine’s Toloka underwater drone, with versions up to 12 meters long. Three TLK 1000 variants were shown, ranging from 4 to 12 meters. The drones can travel up to 2,000 km and carry up to 5 tons of payload.

Ukraine keeps finding new ways to counter Russian drones. Resting drones are the ones that just sit by the side of a road waiting for a target to drive by.

x The AFU has begun deploying nets onto "resting" RF drones that at waiting for a target. In the vast majority of cases, the katsap operating the drone has no indication of the threat and continues to waste time for a target. FYI: They use the "light" button on the UAV remote to launch it. #OSINT

They even painted it pink.

x The company Fire Point, which produces "Flamingo," announced that it has increased missile production to 50 units per month. The company reported that 30 flamingo missiles were manufactured in August. #OSINT

The Maxsim used was probably the Pulyemyot Maksima M1910, which has been used in this war by Ukraine previously. This model has seen service going back to Imperial Russia and the Bolshevik Revolution.

x On 7 September, Kyiv volunteer Hrek shot down a Russian Kh-69 cruise missile with a Maksim machine gun, a weapon over 100 years old The Kh-69, weighing 710 kg with a 310 kg warhead, normally requires advanced SAMs like Patriot air defense systems to intercept

It doesn’t do much but it looks cool.

x DPRK Media -- "Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Guides Work of Unmanned Aeronautical Technology Complex" The aircraft is a "Saebyeol-4" multirole UAV that is a copycat version of the RQ-4 Global Hawk but without any advanced equipment or capabilities. Think of it as a giant RC model airplane. #OSINT

Ukraine has a decoy artillery piece that emits smoke.

Russia deploys Hell’s Angels.

Get it on! Bang a gong!*

* Ten points if you know the song this comes from.

Another 1,150 Russians.

x Russian casualties in Ukraine will surpass 1,100,000 tomorrow.

100,000 additional losses in the last 100 days since June 11th, 2025 - averaging 1,000 per day.

God is still pissed at Russia.

x ‼️ An earthquake of magnitude 7.2 was recorded again off the coast of Kamchatka in Russia, a tsunami threat was declared.

Russian traditional values.

x 1/ A Russian who repeatedly raped his teenage stepdaughter over a period of two years has escaped justice by enlisting to fight in Ukraine. He is only one of a number of Russian rapists and pedophiles who has been able to enlist to avoid going to trial for their crimes. ⬇️

Ireland steps up.

x ⚡️Ireland delivers 34 vehicles and demining robots to Ukraine. Ireland delivered 34 military vehicles and three demining robots to Ukraine as part of its non-lethal military aid, the Irish government announced on Sept. 18.

Let’s check in on the Russian economy.

x Along with new heavy tax increases on the population, starting November 1, Russians will be cut off from foreign cars to raise money for the war. Moscow is hiking the tax fee on both new and used foreign automobiles to extreme levels. — SPRAVDI - Stratcom Centre (@stratcomcentre.bsky.social) September 19, 2025 at 3:32 AM

x PepsiCo promised to quit Russia.

Instead, it raked in $4.5B in revenue there last year and paid $122M in taxes — enough to buy 40 Iskander missiles.

A crumpled Pepsi bottle is a telling symbol of corporate cynicism. Boycotts are growing, and the pressure is building.

Russian bloggers are afraid of ending up like Jimmy Kimmel.

x Another Russian military blogger, Roman Alekhin, has been labeled a “foreign agent” by Russian authorities. Other pro-war bloggers are reportedly growing nervous, predicting a "soon farewell" — whatever that may mean.

[image or embed] — WarTranslated (Dmitri) (@wartranslated.bsky.social) September 19, 2025 at 9:42 AM

x 👀❗️ Rosvoenkor was declared a foreign agent after his quarrel with the propagandist Solovyov. This is about "Alyokhin", who served in "Akhmat", and now he is called a traitor and an enemy. According to the Russian laws, he will now not be able to collect funds for the occupiers.

It’d be a shame if they were silenced.

x 1/ Russia's failure to make anything more than grinding incremental progress in Ukraine is causing discontent in the Russian warblogger community. One warblogger blames incompetent and dishonest 'butcher commanders' who have killed their entire units three or four times over. ⬇️

[image or embed] — ChrisO_wiki (@chriso-wiki.bsky.social) September 18, 2025 at 11:43 AM

2/ Telegram warblogger 'Ramzai' writes that the ratio of losses between Russian and Ukrainian forces "has gradually leveled out due to the massive use of all types of drones by the Ukrainians, [with] 2-3 UAVs for every one of our soldiers." 3/ "Moreover, half of our enemy's losses are caused by our Aerospace Forces' operations in the enemy's rear. The situation is less rosy along the line of contact. 4/ "This is partly due to incompetent command in some areas, where individual battalion and regiment commanders sometimes account for up to 30% of the losses of an entire unit. There are brigades and regiments that have "changed" three or even four personnel in a year… 5/ "And the main task of the upcoming autumn campaign is to impose the strictest order on casualties! Merciless punishment for "butcher" commanders, mandatory analysis of any operation, any battle, with all the ensuing organizational conclusions, if necessary. 6/ "And, of course, severe punishment for lying and concealing the truth!"We must abandon the illusion that the war will soon end and that its conclusion will cover all mistakes and failures. It looks like we'll have to fight for a long time to come! ….. 8/ "Whether we like it or not, the recent historical analogue of the current war is the eight-year war between Iran and Iraq, which dragged on for a long time, following practically the same scenario as the Special Military Operation. A long, bloody trench war of attrition.

The EU needs to come up with a better plan than paying off tyrants.

🔺 118 additional vessels from the shadow fleet of the Russian Federation; 🔺 to introduce a ban on transactions for additional banks in Russia and banks in third countries; 🔺 to add new direct restrictions on the export of goods and technologies used by Russia on the battlefield;

Hmmm. 🤔 What happened to the “Russia is winning” line of BS?
