Kimmel as Guest Host. Let’s make this happen. [1]

It’s great that the other late night hosts have offered supportive words and generally stood in solidarity with Jimmy Kimmel.

But we need to troll Trump a bit better than that. I’d suggest the following:

Colbert, Fallon, and Stewart should have Kimmel on as a guest host on a rotating basis “indefinitely.” Have Kimmel do a guest monologue or a guest interview or really, a guest anything. Give him a “fuck you” platform to keep doing what he did before. Late night whack a mole, where Kimmel keeps popping up and trolling Trump again and again and again. (Except after the fire time Trump has no hammer to keep whacking the mole.)

Not sure Fallon would do it, but I’m quite sure Colbert and Stewart would. Colbert has responded time and again to viral movements and he seems to have stopped having fucks left to give, especially now that he’s a lame duck and he expires next May. Stewart has not been afraid to speak truth to power, ever.

I don’t know if this would violate Kimmel’s contract at ABC or the contracts of the others. But I do know if Kimmel was regularly showing up on these other shows after he was supposedly “fired” indefinitely (i.e. forever), it would send a great message to the Trumpers that the First Amendment is alive and well and that their efforts to end it will fail. It will also make Disney and Paramount and the other media companies that have caved to a fascist dictator look impotent, weak and silly. This would be Ph.D. level trolling.

It would also be hilarious to behold the MAGA meltdown that will almost certainly ensue.



Finally, this wound be ratings GOLD.



I don’t have the power to make this idea go viral and get their attention But you all do. So do it.
